Alphonso Mills (she/he/they) is a dynamic leader with expertise in art and event curation, facilitation, story development, and advocacy training. They are passionate about creating spaces where individuals can express themselves fully, free of shame and stigma. Alphonso believes in empowering people to navigate physical, spiritual, mental, emotional, and sexual health with confidence and self-esteem.

As the Executive Director of TiYM, Alphonso embraces the opportunity to amplify underrepresented voices and help others connect through shared experiences. They are dedicated to fostering collaboration and ensuring that everyone has a platform to tell their stories authentically. Tony Newman Jr.

Assistant Executive Director

Tony Newman (he/him) Jr. brings his expertise in business administration, project management, leadership, and problem-solving to TiYM. With a strong passion for empowering others, Tony thrives on helping individuals realize their potential and drive meaningful change. His approach is rooted in leading by example, fostering growth, and inspiring action.

As the Assistant Executive Director, Tony combines his diverse skills and lived experiences to create a lasting impact. His dedication lies in equipping people with the tools they need to transform their lives and contribute to their communities.

Christian Dacus

Christian Dacus (he/him) is a visionary media professional with expertise in cross-functional collaboration, concept strategy, cinematography, and marketing. He is passionate about using visual storytelling to highlight authentic artistic expression and communicate powerful narratives.

At TiYM, Christian applies his skills to amplify diverse perspectives and share stories that inspire change. Whether through documentary filmmaking, fictional narratives, or impactful community stories, his work embodies resilience and creativity. Christian believes in the transformative power of media to spark connection and understanding.

With a strong belief that everyone deserves a voice, he is passionate about helping individuals express themselves authentically. JaQuan’s dedication to quality and teamwork ensures that every project is impactful and inclusive.

As TiYM’s Director of Production, JaQuan brings his skills to the forefront, ensuring that every story is told with integrity and care. He views his work as a way to uplift communities and create spaces where voices can be heard.

Royce Pearson
